Strawberry & Rhubarb Seltzer for the win
We won a Crushie!
Last month our Strawberry & Rhubarb hard seltzer picked up a Platinum award (the highest possible category) at the 2022 Craft Beer Marketing Awards.
Yes we know our drinks aren’t technically craft beers, but the CBMAs honour the best marketing and design entries from across the world – so we’re pretty chuffed that we’re not the only ones thinking that our little strawberry sidekick is one goooood looking can.
All categories are judged by an influential and respected panel of beer, marketing, and design experts across different categories in the alcoholic drinks space. There is only 1 x Platinum award given out per region – with our sumptuous seltzer picking up the top hard seltzer prize for Europe.
Our can designs have always been very important to us, and have come a long long way from our original designs, where it’s fair to say we probably focussed more on what went in the can that what went on the outside.
Stunning Seltzers
We were particularly happy with the re-design we carried out on our strawberry alcoholic seltzer last year – and have tried to represent the colours of the real fruit juices that go into our drinks.
When we were first creating Long Shot, this was the first hard seltzer recipe we started making. We wanted to make flavours that were unique and typical of the UK countryside – with our first batches made using nothing more than hand-pressed strawberries and rhubarbs from our own back gardens, all whizzed up in a Sodastream. Check out what goes into our drinks here.
Things have come a long way from those days, but we’re very happy to see how far we’ve come. We always wanted our can designs to be a reflection of what our hard seltzers are all about: Fun, colourful, made in the UK and just a little bit different.
Can we officially say we’ve crushed it now?
