Some more great news to share with you all – our range of all-natural hard seltzers have just been nominated as finalists in the Great British Food Awards 2021.

A bit of a Long Shot

That’s right – our humble range of alcoholic sparkling waters have made it through to the final round of the Spirits section of the Great British Food Awards, with the final results announced at the end of October. Don’t worry – when we know, you’ll know!

Celebrating the very best of British artisanal food and drink, these are the only awards to judge exclusively UK-based products and are judged by a panel of some of the most acclaimed chefs and food critics in the country, so it’s a great achievement for us all here in the Long Shot team.

UK Hard Seltzers for the win

We’re very proud of our 'Britishness', and feel it plays a key role in what makes our hard seltzers that little bit special. We’re a small, young company up against some of the biggest drinks companies in the business, and with our range of all-natural alcoholic seltzers we’re committed to creating cleaner, lighter alternatives for the UK drinker. 

There’s no doubt we’re an underdog in the hard seltzer game, but we make sure we never cut any corners, and always stay true to what makes us unique - our dedication to only using real fruit juices grown right here in the UK, and never anything artificial. Read more about all the good things that go into our drinks here.

We’re also always making sure we always think about the environmental impact we, as a drinks producer, are having on the world around us – and at every stage on our ‘fruit to fridge’ journey, we look to minimise our carbon footprint as much as possible.

Great British Flavours for Great British Seltzers

We’ve tried not to get too carried away chasing the most extravagant flavour ideas for our seltzers (and believe me, there’s been a lot!), but instead be inspired by the abundance of high quality fruit juices grown right here in our countryside.

For example, our Strawberry & Rhubarb Hard Seltzer was inspired by the classic Summer fruit crumble, whereas our Raspberry & Blackcurrant Hard Seltzer was originally made as a tribute to one of our favourite blackcurrant cream sundaes.
